Magical

"Magic" wands are a fanciful object that allow me to explore lathe turned wooden forms.  I use traditional spindle turning shapes, and am especially drawn to the movable element and mystery of "captured" rings. Most intriguing to me however are "multi-axis" turnings where the wood is relocated and the axis of turning changed several times on the lathe to create a quirky, eccentric sculpture with magical powers!
